This was my breakfast on the first day that I tried a visual food log. I realized at breakfast this morning that I only had egg and muffin. After that I added a fruit of some sort to get something more in and make breakfast more balanced.
So I added fruit. I had melon for a few days but now I am having nectarine and blueberry. MMMM...Coffee and a soda are a staple in the morning. I drink the soda with my breakfast and then sip the coffee all morning. I got really tired of taking this picture so this was it.
As with breakfast, lunch is very boring. I have the same thing every day. I have a wrap. When I am at home I just eat a wrap. I took a picture and realized it was too boring. I added some salad. Then I added pita chips and hummus for variety. One day I even took a picture of the snack I would have later in the afternoon. It was a great idea to put a snack on a cute plate and have it in the afternoon. This will definately carry over even when I am not taking pictures. I am definately more aware of how my plate looks.
Dinner was always somethign different but I realized it is heavy on the starch. Not only that but it is hard to make it look pretty a lot of the time.
Meal 1- brussel sprouts with chicken and bruschetta topping, egg noodles with parmesan cheese
Meal 2- Morrocan meatball stew with tomatoes, cous cous.
Meal 3- Chicken with cream herb sauce, pasta and corn.
I took pictures of some of my snacks as well. I find it hard to keep it up though. It did make me more aware of my plate so that is a win.
